This year, we decided to go cut down our own Christmas tree. We had been hoping to go into the mountains to get one from the national forest, but you have to have a permit and they were sold out. So, instead, we went to a tree farm in Greeley with our good friends, the Drakes. We had a great time. Turns out that picking the right tree is quite a big decision...and they look a lot smaller on the farm than they do in your living room. We love our tree and had a great time finding it. I do believe this is the start of a new tradition.
We took a hayride out to the trees
The girls had so much fun running around. What a great playground!
| What a man! A saw and flowery diaper bag. |
The ONE!
The Drakes found their tree.
Headed back to get some cookies and cider. Such a fun day!
Back at home, We got the tree all set up.

Maybe not the most perfect tree, but we love it! My favorite tree ever!
