First Week

Ava is almost one week old and has been so sweet and precious. She is an amazing sleeper, already going 4 to 5 hour stretches at night. Hopefully she will keep that up for a while. My mom has been in town this week which has been such a blessing as we transition into parenting. Brent and I are loving parenthood and are totally captivated by our precious baby girl.

Welcome to the World Ava Claire

Ava Claire Dixon was born was October 11, 2010 at 4:24am. She was 6lb 4oz and 19 inches long. She is absolutely beautiful. We are so in love with her.

She is daddy's girl already.

Ava's Nursery

Here are a few pictures of Ava's room. I am not sure how well you can tell from the pictures but the walls are a light green. There are a few more things we will hang on the walls once she is here and have some pictures. Thanks to my mom, Jill, Brent's parents, and my friend Beth for all the help with getting the room together!!
